Products 4 Big People

Updated on June 10, 2019

Because Everyone Should Feel Comfortable

No matter what your size you should feel comfortable living your life.

This lens aims to make it easier by going beyond fashion to provide an introduction to products and / or shops with that purpose.

Drop me a line in the comments if you have come across a great retailer with heavy duty or necessary products.

Seat Belt Extenders

Some people just can't get the seat belts of certain models of vehicles across their abdomen. This can lead to wearing an extremely tight and uncomfortable belt or worse, not wearing them at all.

I didn't realize the variance in seatbelt length and fit until we went van shopping a few years ago. Of all the vans we tried the Toyota Sienna was the most comfortable plus the basic model comes with more features than any other basic.

Automobiles

I never knew this was such a problem until I started talking to others about it. But there is a cure. If you are buying a new vehicle be sure to ask the dealer up front for an extender.

Here is a resource page of automobile manufacturers and their contact information so you can contact the one for your vehicle to request a seat belt extender. Depending on the age of your vehicle and the manufacturer you may or may not need to pay for this. Visit Seat Belts For Larger Passengers.

Air Planes

The next difficult place to fit into a seatbelt is on an airplane. I've even seen slim people struggle with them. If you do a lot of air travel you might want to consider getting your own extender. Visit Seatbelt Extender Pros for further information.

Living XL

This website has so many products for "living large" I just couldn't believe it. All in one spot!

They have toilets seats, heating pads, mobility chairs, leg lifters, back scratchers, wheelchairs with 700 lb capacity, portable chairs, mens and womens clothing; and my favorite, bikes for men and women that hold 600lbs.

Visit Livingxl to learn more.

Maxx Daddy Folding Chair

by Koolest Products

Jim and Adell from Tennessee have been providing high grade steel folding chairs to their customers since the ninties.

Depending on the model they hold 600+ pounds of safety and comfort for anyone looking for a portable durable chair.

I love my purple MaXX Daddy Monster and highly recommend it. It holds 800 lbs, 300 lbs per arm, has two insulated cup holders, two layers of 600 denier nylon fabric for comfort and durability, easily removable headrest and footrest and a carrying bag. The only downside is that it weighs 25 lbs, making it difficult if you have to lug it any distance.

The chair is incredibly comfortable and easy to set up. I also felt incredibly safe sitting and lounging in it. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it for anyone who does any kind of camping, RVing, festivals, pool side or back yard lounging. And it's a dang pretty chair!

Bear in mind that you get what you pay for. The Maxx Daddy is around $120 plus UPS standard shipping. Watch the video below to see how easy it is to open and close it.

*** Update*** The Koolest Products website seems to be down. I am not sure what that means for Maxx Daddy chairs. In the mean time check out the Living XL link above as they do have heavy duty chairs of a different brand.

Maxx Daddy Folding Chair

This is one of my favorite products and comes from Koolest Chairs. Depending on the style, their chairs can hold 800 to 1400 lbs. Here is my video that goes over the features as well as shows you how long it takes to open and put away. Be sure to watch to the end so you can see outtakes.

Leave me note to say hi or tell me about a great Product 4 Big People. What is the best tool you ever bought?
